Growing up i thought valentines day was only celebrated if you had a man! anyway speaking of girl friends since i move to the United States i have been short of girls friends and lately i just hang out with the kids which don't get me wrong is the best part of my life. I remember when I lived in Rome, my girl friends and I would go out for a nice relaxing aperitif (aka Aperitivo) sipping on vine or Aperol spritz ( which I still drink) talking about the next shoes to buy, how I miss those days.
On Valentine's we would share gifts or host a get together at my place for the evening drinking espresso's and wine while having makeovers...lol. I have share some of my favorite valentine's gift ideas below and have categorized them by prices $50 and over.
One thing I really love is the idea of having gifts that last forever or maybe for a while like perfumes, my personal favorite is this brand.
I love perfumes but I only choose 4 types that have become my personal fragrance, in case you don't know this... I love shoes, (obsessed if you may) so this pair would make a beautiful gift.
Apart from makeup, jewelry and clothing, a nice home decor like a throw or blanket would make a perfect gift and it is something you can always gift friend.
There are a ton of gift ideas for your lady or best friend, it could range from flowers , edible assortments, or chocolate, you don't need to worry, just look into your heart and your pocket and something will come to mind.
